On March 25th, we remember #Saint Irineu, Bishop of Sirmium, who refused to offer sacrifice to idols. Brought before the authorities, he confessed his faith boldly. "Ireneu is my name, and a Christian is my title," he declared. Despite torture and imprisonment, he remained steadfast. When pressured by his own family to renounce Christ, he turned from them, keeping his eyes on God. He was beheaded for his unwavering faith.
