Joseph, born in 1568 in Macedonia, dedicated his life to God from a young age, entering monastic life at Partoș Monastery. Known for his humility and wisdom, he was later chosen as the Metropolitan of Timișoara. His most famous act was during a severe drought when he led the faithful in fervent prayer. Miraculously, rain fell, saving the region from famine. He reposed peacefully in 1656, his relics becoming a source of healing and comfort for believers.
