On a dark day in 304 AD, during Emperor Diocletian's reign, Donat, a lector, and Venust, with his family, faced Roman persecution. Arrested for their unwavering #Faith, they refused to deny Christ.

Enduring torture, they were promised freedom for apostasy. Donat remained steadfast, declaring his allegiance to God. Enraged, the authorities beheaded him. Venust, witnessing Donat's martyrdom, was also beheaded. Their courage ensured their place in Heaven.

Let us pray to these holy #Martyrs to intercede with God that we too may find courage in times of trial. #SaintsDonatandVenust #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer
