The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, a virgin betrothed to Joseph, in Nazareth. He announced that she would conceive and bear a son, #Jesus, who would be called the Son of the Most High, and his kingdom would never end. Mary, though troubled, humbly accepted God's will, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." This moment, known as the Annunciation, marks the beginning of the salvation of humanity through the incarnation of Christ. Let us pray to the #Theotokos, that her example of humility and obedience inspires us to accept God's will in our lives and to be instruments of His divine grace.
