Martyr Oprea of Săliştea, a humble shepherd, stood firm in his Orthodox faith when pressured to convert to Calvinism in 18th-century Transylvania. Promised wealth and threatened with death, he refused to deny Christ. "I was born Orthodox, and I will die Orthodox," he declared before being tortured and ultimately martyred for his unwavering belief.
