In the days of Diocletian, #Evangelicus, a servant of God in Tomis, refused to offer sacrifices to idols. He boldly confessed Christ, enduring severe torture. He was scourged, scraped with iron claws, and burned with candles, yet his faith remained unshaken. Miraculously healed by an angel, he continued to preach Christ. Angered, the governor had him beheaded. Let us beseech #Hieromartyr Evangelicus to intercede for us, that we may stand firm in our #faith and witness to the truth of Christ in these times.
