Joseph the New of Partoș Monastery, Metropolitan of Timișoara, was known for his profound humility and charity. Once, during a severe famine, the church granaries were nearly empty. While others panicked, Joseph gathered the remaining grain and, against the advice of his counselors, distributed it all to the starving populace. Miraculously, the granaries were replenished overnight. The people saw this as a divine sign of Joseph's righteousness.

Let us pray that, inspired by his example, we may emulate his selflessness and compassion. May #GodIsGood answer our prayers through his intercessions. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Virtue #Church
