In Constantinople, he confronted Emperor Leo the Armenian, a fierce iconoclast, for his beliefs. Gregory's unwavering faith and powerful prayers healed the sick and cast out demons. Eventually, he fell ill and reposed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of devotion and defense of the true faith.
