In the village of Brazi, Romania, Theodosie resisted conversion to Catholicism. Dragged to Turda by the Hungarian Calvinist authorities, he endured imprisonment and starvation. Despite torture, Theodosie refused to renounce his #OrthodoxChristian faith. Condemned to death, he was beheaded on January 22, 1692. His steadfastness inspired many to remain true to their ancestral beliefs.
