Venerable Martyr Visarion, a Romanian monk from Lainici Monastery, stood firm in his Orthodox faith despite facing immense pressure to convert to Catholicism. He was arrested, imprisoned, and tortured for refusing to renounce Orthodoxy. Visarion endured beatings, starvation, and psychological torment. He never wavered, finding strength in prayer and divine grace, ultimately dying a martyr for his beliefs.
