Born into a pious family in Macedonia, Joseph felt drawn to monastic life early on. He joined Partoș Monastery, where his humility and devotion quickly became apparent. Ordained as a priest, he later became the Metropolitan of Timișoara. Renowned for his wisdom and compassion, Joseph tirelessly served his flock, offering guidance and comfort. Despite his high office, he remained humble, often found tending to the poor and sick. He reposed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith and service.
