On this day, we remember #Irineu, Bishop of Sirmium, who stood firm in his faith during persecution. When asked by Emperor Probus to offer sacrifice to pagan gods, Irineu refused, declaring his allegiance to Christ. For his steadfastness, he was beheaded in 304 AD. May his courage inspire us to uphold our beliefs without wavering.
