Venerable Visarion, during a time of upheaval, stood firm in his faith, openly denouncing heresy and comforting the oppressed. Imprisoned and tortured for his beliefs, he endured suffering with unwavering resolve. Even in captivity, his spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to inspire those around him. He died in prison, a martyr for truth.
