In 1958, during the height of Communist persecution in Romania, Father Constantin Sârbu was arrested for his unwavering faith and refusal to denounce his religious beliefs. Subjected to brutal interrogations and torture, he remained steadfast, comforting his fellow prisoners and continuing to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in secret. Despite immense suffering, he never wavered in his devotion to #JesusChrist, ultimately dying as a martyr for his faith.
