Venerable Dometie, a humble monk of Râmeț Monastery, embodied boundless compassion. Once, during a severe famine, the monastery's meager stores dwindled, leaving the brethren fearful. Dometie, witnessing the suffering of the local villagers, implored the abbot to distribute the remaining grain. Initially hesitant, the abbot relented due to Dometie’s unwavering faith. Miraculously, the grain multiplied as it was given away, feeding both the monks and the hungry villagers until the famine subsided. Oh, Venerable Dometie, intercede for us, that we may have hearts as generous as yours!
