Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, spread the Gospel near the Danube. Arrested for their faith, they refused to renounce Christ before the local ruler. Despite torture, they remained steadfast, converting many onlookers. Miracles occurred, solidifying their followers' belief. Finally, they were beheaded for their unwavering devotion.

Let us pray to these Holy Martyrs, that through their intercessions, the Lord may grant us strength and unwavering faith to do His will.
