During the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate, Donat, a lector, and Venust, with his wife and family, were arrested for their unwavering #ChristianFaith. Ordered to renounce Christ and worship idols, they refused steadfastly. Donat and Venust were subjected to cruel tortures. Venust's wife and children watched, strengthened by faith, and encouraged him to stand firm. Ultimately, they were all burned to death for their devotion.
