Venerable Dimitrie lived as a simple shepherd. After his death, during a Tatar invasion, his relics were moved near the village. When a young paralyzed woman slept near them, she was miraculously healed. The relics were later moved to Bucharest, where they remained, a source of blessings and miracles. O, Venerable Dimitrie, intercede for us, that we may be healed in soul and body!
