In the year 372, #MartyrSava, a Goth, confessed his faith in Christ openly in Buzău, Romania, despite warnings of persecution. When Athanaric, the Gothic judge, ordered all Christians to be burned alive, Sava willingly stepped forward, declaring, "Why do you delay? I am a Christian." His fellow villagers were spared because of his bravery. He was drowned in the river Musaios (present-day Buzău River), thus sealing his unwavering devotion to #JesusChrist.

O holy Sava, intercede for us that we may have such courage in our faith.
