Venerable Seraphim lived a life of profound humility and patience at Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery. A skilled iconographer, he meticulously painted sacred images, praying constantly. Once, a fire broke out near his cell, threatening to engulf the monastery. Seraphim, instead of fleeing, knelt before an icon of the Mother of God, pleading for deliverance. Miraculously, the wind shifted, diverting the flames and saving the monastery. His unwavering faith and serene acceptance of suffering made him a beacon of hope.
