Venerable Nicodim of Tismana, a 14th-century monk, founded the Tismana Monastery in Romania, guided by divine visions. He tirelessly worked to establish monastic life, promote literacy, and defend Orthodox faith. Legend says he struck a rock with his staff, and a spring of healing water gushed forth, a testament to his spiritual power and God's grace.
