In the 4th century, during Emperor Maximian's reign, Isihie, a high-ranking officer, openly confessed his #Christian #Faith, renouncing his military status. He was brought before the emperor, where he declared Christ as the true God. Despite promises of honor and threats of torture, Isihie remained steadfast. He was subjected to various tortures, including being stoned, hung, and scraped with iron claws, yet he endured it all with unwavering faith. Finally, he was beheaded.
