Born in Nazareth, Mary was betrothed to Joseph. The angel Gabriel appeared to her, announcing she would conceive and bear a son, #JesusChrist, by the Holy Spirit. Despite her virginity, she accepted God's will with humility, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She visited her cousin Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptist, and proclaimed the Magnificat, a hymn of praise. Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem and raised Him in Nazareth. She witnessed His ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection.

Let us worship the Theotokos, for her role in salvation.
