As a young woman, Mary received a visit from the Archangel Gabriel, who told her she would conceive and bear a son, #JesusChrist, who would be called the Son of the Most High. Though a virgin, she accepted God's will with humility, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She conceived by the #HolySpirit and gave birth to #Jesus in Bethlehem. Mary raised Jesus in Nazareth, witnessing his ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection.
