As a young virgin, Mary received a divine visitation from the Archangel Gabriel, who announced that she would conceive and bear a son, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. Despite her virginity, she humbly accepted God's will, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She conceived Jesus and remained a virgin before, during, and after His birth. Mary nurtured Jesus throughout His life, witnessed His ministry, stood by Him during His crucifixion, and was present with the apostles after His resurrection.
