Ermil, a deacon, and Stratonic, a guard, were martyred for their faith. Ermil was tortured for confessing Christ, while Stratonic, secretly a Christian, wept openly at Ermil's suffering. When Stratonic confessed his own faith, both were condemned. They were bound, cast into the Danube, and perished for their unwavering belief.

Let us pray to these brave #Martyrs to intercede for us, that we may have the courage to confess Christ always.
