Let us remember #Martyr Hermes, a Roman official who lived during the reign of Emperor Aurelian. Despite the threats, Hermes openly confessed his faith in Christ. He was brought before the authorities, and after refusing to deny Christ, he was subjected to brutal tortures. Miraculously, he remained unharmed. The emperor, witnessing this, attributed it to magic and ordered him to be beheaded.
