Pasicrat and Valentin, soldiers and brothers, confessed Christ openly when Emperor Maximian commanded sacrifices to idols. Imprisoned and tortured, they remained steadfast. Angels comforted them, and their prison became a place of prayer and hymns. They were brought before the emperor again, and when they refused to renounce Christ, they were sentenced to beheading. Even facing death, they praised God.

Lord, may their courage inspire us to unwavering faith.
