Venerable Anthony of Iezeru, in the 17th century, lived as a hermit in a cave near the Iezeru Monastery. He dedicated himself to prayer and solitude, even when brigands tried to steal from him, he offered them bread and taught them about God's love. He is remembered for his humility and profound connection with God.
