In the tumultuous days of the Roman Empire, Romulus, a soldier, and Silvanus, a devout follower of Christ, stood firm in their faith. Accused of treason for their Christian beliefs during a time when Emperor Diocletian demanded worship of Roman gods, they refused to renounce their allegiance to God. Imprisoned and tortured, their unwavering resolve amazed their persecutors. Even when faced with the ultimate sacrifice, they encouraged each other, finding strength in prayer and their shared devotion. They were eventually beheaded for their faith. May their sacrifice inspire us to stand firm in our beliefs.
