In the year 372, #SaintSava, a Goth, steadfast in his #Christian #Faith, refused to partake in the pagan rituals imposed by the Gothic chieftain. Despite the pleas of villagers who sought to protect him by claiming he was not among them, Sava openly declared his belief in #JesusChrist. For his unwavering devotion, he was martyred, drowned in the river Buzău.
