Venerable Dometie dedicated his life to serving others. He lived in the Râmeț Monastery, known for his deep compassion. Once, during a severe famine, the monastery's food supplies dwindled. Dometie secretly gave away the monastery's remaining provisions to the starving villagers, trusting in God's mercy. When the monks discovered the empty storehouses, they were dismayed. Dometie urged them to pray. Miraculously, the granaries were filled overnight.
