On August 15, 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu, along with his sons Constantin, Ștefan, Radu, and Matei, were beheaded in Constantinople after refusing to renounce their Christian faith. Offered wealth and high position by Sultan Ahmed III in exchange for conversion to Islam, they chose martyrdom. Constantin, strengthened by his father's example, encouraged his younger brothers to remain steadfast. Their courage inspired many Christians in the Ottoman Empire and beyond. The relics of St. Constantin Brâncoveanu are now in Bucharest.

Lord, through the prayers of the Holy #Martyrs Brâncoveni, strengthen our resolve to always uphold our #faith. May their sacrifice inspire us to live lives worthy of Your calling. #OrthodoxSaints #ChristianCourage #RomanianOrthodox
