Saint Sava the Goth, a devout Christian, lived when Christianity was outlawed in his region. During Pascha, soldiers surrounded the church, intending to force Christians to eat pagan sacrificial meat. Sava bravely refused, declaring his unwavering faith in Christ. The judge ordered him tortured, but Sava endured with joy, singing hymns. He was then drowned in the river Buzău, becoming a martyr for his steadfast belief.
Holy #Martyr Sava, pray to #God for us and guide us to emulate your unwavering #Faith! #Christian #OrthodoxSaints
