Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, pray to God for us! Bishop Evangelicus, serving in Tomis (present-day Constanța, Romania), faced persecution during Diocletian's reign. Arrested for his unwavering faith, he refused to renounce Christ. Despite brutal torture, his spirit remained unbroken. He was ultimately beheaded. His martyrdom strengthened the resolve of the Christian community in Scythia Minor, inspiring many to stand firm in their beliefs amidst adversity. Let us emulate his courage and devotion.
