In the village of Partoș, Joseph, a beacon of devotion, felt a profound call to monastic life. Despite his parents' wishes, he left for the monastery, where his humility and dedication shone brightly. Known for his miraculous healings and deep connection to the divine, he was chosen as Metropolitan of Timișoara. Yet, yearning for solitude, he returned to Partoș Monastery, continuing his ascetic life until his peaceful repose.
