On August 15, 1714, Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu of Wallachia and his four sons—Constantin, Ștefan, Radu, and Matei—were beheaded in Constantinople after refusing to renounce their Christian faith and convert to Islam. Constantin, facing immense pressure, encouraged his sons to remain steadfast, prioritizing their souls over earthly life. Their courage in the face of death has made them symbols of Christian resilience and sacrifice.
Let us pray to the #MartyrsBrâncoveni, that their example inspires us to remain firm in our #Faith. May their sacrifice encourage us to live a life devoted to #Christ and that they may intercede for us, strengthening our resolve to always do what is right. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian
