On July 8th, we honor Martyrs Epictet and Astion, priests who spread the Gospel with fiery hearts. Arrested for their faith, they refused to deny Christ, enduring brutal tortures with unwavering resolve. Even thrown into a fiery furnace, they emerged unharmed, their faith a beacon against the darkness. They were ultimately beheaded.

Lord, may their courage ignite our own faith, to stand firm in Your truth.
